Is it possible to repair the ribbon of the home button where the connector joins at the digitizer? The connector has completely come off from the home button ribbon! It was having a new screen and digitizer when the home button ribbon was being prised off the connector cable ripped.

Hi Xfix. Just fixed a iPhone 8 plus screen. Normal process of moving over the front camera flex, speaker, LCD heat shield, and home button. Well, when I finished it and pressed the home button it starts vibrating rapidly and opens recent apps. Nothing looks torn or bent so I don’t know what’s wrong.

I’m having an issue with my iPhone 7 home button, Home button doesn’t click but finger id/touch id does.
I had it repaired by a company I found on google for £60 but I have sent it back to him 4 times now and the last time took him 3 weeks to get it back to me!
